Pantera is a family owned company founded in 1982 and headquartered in Amarillo, TX. Based on years of experience in the area, Pantera’s initial projects were drilling deals in the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma.
Over the next 3 decades, Pantera grew the business through an aggressive acquisition program, completing well over 200 transactions of various sizes, expanding operations, and continuing a steady drilling program.
Today, Pantera’s full time staff, along with dozens of contractors, manage over 1,300 wells (learn about our operations) that they own and operate. Pantera Energy Company focuses on executing a strategy (learn about our vision) to target assets considered to be underdeveloped and use its expertise in drilling and operations to enhance the oil and gas production.
